According to latest released Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings 2007, none of the Indian varsities finds a place among world’s top 200 universities.
The only consolation for India is that IIT Mumbai and IIT Delhi find mention among the world’s top 50 technology institutions, at ranks 33 & 37 respectively.
